Magic Animals

Ferrero

Climate change and pollution affect us all – yet children are rarely part of the conversation. Magic Animals flips that. In New York, Ferrero ran a children's contest: submit a drawing of your fantasy animal. We took four winning drafts and developed them professionally, each animal with its own abilities. The animation style: a rethought comic with layered illustrations, translating important topics of our world in a way kids can grasp. The animals become ambassadors – children themselves carry the message forward.

Challenge

Ferrero wanted to bring environmental topics closer to children. But how do you tell kids about deforestation, ocean plastic and endangered species without scaring them? The format had to entertain, inform and motivate – at once, and age-appropriate.

Approach

We took the winning children's drawings from Ferrero's contest and developed them into four magical animals, a team solving environmental issues. Six episodes with distinct themes, the animation style reimagined as a layered comic. At eye level with the audience. The message: small hands can make a big difference.

Result

A series proving that branded content for children works when you take the audience seriously and trust them to share responsibility. No lecturing, just stories kids want to pass on themselves – becoming ambassadors for environmental topics in the process.
