Hard Talks
The Greiner Hard Talks are a conversation format with conviction. Greiner is a global plastics processor that publicly engages with its role in society and sustainability. Stefan Grafenhorst, Head of Sustainability and Communication, leads in-depth conversations with six C-level executives from different divisions. The hard questions of our time, no dodging.
A plastics processor getting its own leadership to publicly face the most uncomfortable questions of their industry: How does it feel to see plastic in the oceans? How do you work on emissions reduction when your core business isn't fully sustainable? No greenwashing, no evasive PR answers. The format needed to create a space where this honesty was possible and visible.
Together with Greiner, we developed the format and gave it a frame that honours the conversation: an 8K projection surface with animated backdrop, three cameras, professional lighting. Stefan Grafenhorst goes deep in every conversation rather than staying on the surface. The staging remains restrained throughout; it supports the content without pulling focus.
Six in-depth discussions, around 20 minutes each. Plus cutdowns for social channels and a trailer. The format performed well above average on LinkedIn and sparked real debate. The actual proof: a company with the courage to face critical questions and take a stand – exactly what makes sustainability communication credible today.
