I am Progress

Strabagwith Jung von Matt Wien

Together with Jung von Matt Wien, we produced the "I am Progress" campaign for Strabag. One hero film and seven proof clips featuring real employees sharing what progress means to them personally. A red shovel travels as a connecting element from scene to scene. Eight shoot days across Austria and Germany, intensive post-production, and a result that delivers on both visual and narrative excellence.

Challenge

15 protagonists, seven standalone proof clips, one overarching hero film, three formats per deliverable, subtitles in German and English. All of it with real employees, not actors. The creative challenge: a cutting mechanic that connects the entire corporation without ever feeling staged.

Approach

The red shovel as a relay: passed from employee to employee, across every division of Strabag. Each person looks into the camera and tells us their personal contribution to progress. We shot in two blocks over eight days in Austria and Germany, with a team large enough to light every scene professionally, yet flexible enough to react to real moments. Post-production was the real marathon: edit across all clips, colour grading, sound design, voice recordings, motion graphics and format deliveries in 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16.

Result

One hero film, seven proof clips with three cutdowns each, all in three formats with German and English subtitles. A campaign package that doesn't just claim Strabag's "Work on Progress"; it proves it through the stories of its people.
